The J-Kids Families Club for pre-schoolers (but children of all ages are welcome to accompany their family to any of our J-Kids events) meets regularly in locations throughout the greater Mansfield area.  Families can choose from a variety of fun, social, cultural and spiritual/religious offerings that welcome the region’s wide diversity of multi-faith, multi-cultural and multi-ethnic Jewish homes.

Community outings include:

*Apple picking at Buell’s Orchards

*A tour of UConn Animal Barns with a local veterinarian who will share the inside scoop on farm animal life

*Frog Poster Workshop and the WAIM Walk for Warmth

*Mask-making for Purim at the Ballard Institute of Puppetry

*A hands-on project about local history at the Windham Mill Museum

*A visit to the Wickware Planetarium to learn about the Moon, Judaism’s lunar calendar, and the monthly holiday of Rosh Chodesh

The Club also meets monthly for Friday night pot-lucks and Saturday children-inspired Shabbat programs, as well as for Jewish holidays throughout the year.

J-Kids Families Club is a great way to make new friends and enjoy new experiences!  For more information, please e-mail Children and Families Coordinator Nancy Beller-Krieger at, call 860-423-3742, or visit our Facebook page.
